How can I tell what components are in a specific piece?

"I make the pieces with semi-precious stones, shell, and/or glass beads. The wire which is visible in the design is usually either sterling silver or colored copper. I will label the components of each piece based on the information I have from my suppliers."

Can I get a custom piece made?

"I would be happy to work with you to make a custom piece. If you don't see anything on the site which catches your attention, please also check the archive of pieces I have already sold. If you find a design you like there, I may be able to craft something similar. Happy hunting!"

How do I care for my jewelry?

"I recommend storing it in the plastic bag provided to help reduce tarnishing of the silver. You can clean the silver with a treated cloth designed for that purpose."

Why are the beads I received not exactly as pictured?

"The color mixes are consistent in terms of which beads I combine, but the actual use of the beads in each piece may be different. The good news is you have a 'one of kind' piece!"

Do you use precious metals when wire wrapping?

"I normally use sterling silver. I will always identify the wire I use based on the information provided by my suppliers."

How do I know what size to order?

"Since I use memory wire in both the coil and cuff bracelets, the bracelet adjusts to fit your wrist. If you have concerns either before or after you order, please contact me."

Can I purchase a pendant at a later date to match the earrings?

"If you are interested in a matching pendant, please advise me when you place your order and I will see what I can design. It is usually better to make both using the same batch of beads or stones so they match better."

If I already have a chain, do I need to buy one for the pendant?

"I am currently selling the pendants without chains."

Where are you located?

"I don't have a retail location since I work from my home. I will be happy to work with you by email, phone or at craft shows where I have a booth."

Can I find your jewelry at shows?

"My next show will be at St Timothy School in Chantilly Virginia."

Can I find your jewelry in stores?

"Not at this time."

Do you have a catalog?

" No. To allow for frequent updates based on availability of pieces, I am using the web site instead of a printed catalog."

Can I place my order by email or by fax instead of doing it online?

"You are welcome to correspond with me by email to facilitate placing an order."

How long does a custom order take?

"The time to design, make and deliver a custom order depends mostly on availability of materials. After initial research on a custom request, I would give you a cost and schedule estimate and we would continue the dialogue until you have accepted your custom piece."

How soon will I get my order?

"Normally within a week."

How do I know that the item was actually shipped?

"I will notify you by email when I have mailed your order."

What forms of payment do you accept?

"At this time, a personal check is the best form of payment. I will be arranging credit card processing in the future."

What is your privacy policy?

"I will not share your personal information except as necessary to process your order, for example to get a check approved."

How do you pack your items?

"I use primarily bubble wrap and envelopes or boxes designed for mailing."

How do you ship your items?

"I will use the United States Postal Service."

Do you ship to other countries?

"At this time I am only shipping to USA addresses, including military postal addresses."

Which payment methods are available?

"Personal check."

Is there a minimum order?

"There is no minimum order."

Is there a price discount for a large order?

"There is a discount price for every two pair of earrings: $15/pair or $25/two pair."

What is the shipping cost?

"That will depend on the size of the order, but I can let you know in advance of shipping."

Do I need to pay sales tax?

"If you have a delivery address in Virginia, I need to collect Virginia sales tax."

What is your return policy?

"If you are not satisfied, please return the item and I will either exchange it or refund your payment minus the mailing costs."

What if there is a problem with my order?

"Contact me and I will work with you to resolve the problem."
